To Our Dearest Family Of Freaks,
Over the last few months, we have been in the underground lab secretly concocting our plan for world domination and we are finally ready to let you in on the big secret. And since you are on our side, consider yourself fortunate because we are certain this plan will go off without a hitch. And if by global domination, we are referring to releasing The Funhouse worldwide on United For Opportunity, doing a US tour from coast to coast over the next 4 – 5 months, which we are appropriately titling the “Enter the Funhouse” Tour (see schedule below), and launching the brand new Caravan of Thieves Website with lots of new goodies and whole new shnazzy look, then we are ready to take over the planet… or at least have some fun with you all doing our crazy caravan music and rolling around on the stage.
For those of you who have not been able to get to a show this fall and grab one of the pre-release copies of The Funhouse, the official release date to all online retailers (iTunes, Amazon, etc) will be on Feb 28. And of course, since the Enter the Funhouse Tour will cover most of the continental US, you may have the opportunity to pick one up in person, at the show, complete with a handshake and signature! The Funhouse has been an amazing project for us from the recording sessions in Tarquin Recording Studios (The Swell Season, Interpol, The National) to having your support through our Kickstarter campaign and now having it be released on a broader scale with a great new team to help. Caravan of Thieves has been an evolving concept and continues to inspire us, to push the boundaries and be the freakiest Freaks we can be! We hope it does the same for you.
